We offer training programs that teach farmers sustainable farming practices, including how to use organic fertilizers, conserve water, and manage pests and diseases.
Our Sustainable Farming Training program is designed to teach small-scale farmers in the Nyakach region of Kenya sustainable farming practices that will help them improve their crop yields and livelihoods, while also protecting the environment.
Some of the topics covered in our training include:
We teach farmers how to use organic fertilizers, such as compost and animal manure, to nourish their soil and improve their crop yields.
We teach farmers how to conserve water by using drip irrigation and other water-saving techniques.
Pest and disease management
We teach farmers how to identify and manage pests and diseases that can damage their crops, using natural and organic methods whenever possible.
